Mango Mint Coolada



Summer is synonymous to mango back in India. Alphonso , Sapota , Neelam , Banganapalli , the list of varieties are still golden in my memories.





Though we get only 2 varieties here in my part of world ,I like Ataulfo mangoes. I started washing the mangoes and slowly started rewinding my memories , dad bringing in lots of mangoes when he is back from paper correction and related work, the joy being meeting dad after 3 weeks and also mangoes and pal khoa from Srivalliputhur. And the fight starts there among me, my brother and sister , who gets to eat more mangoes. There are countless such fights for the pits too .I'm back to reality when my phone rings...



This Mango Coolada is an interesting combo of mango , coconut milk and mint. If you haven't tried this combo , trust me and give it a try and I'm sure you will love it.This being healthy and natural , I make it often for guilt free  indulgence.




Ingrediets

Mango Pulp ................. 1 cup ( I used 2  Atualfo mangoes , chopped)
Coconut Milk .............  1/4 cup
Coconut water ........... 1/4 cup
Mint ............................. 5 leaves
Honey .......................... 1 tsp , optional
Ice Cubes ................. few , optional

Method

Blend everything until nice and creamy.
