  1. does coconut oil give a good texture to the cake? can olive oil be used?

    1. yes Tanvi . Olive oil gave me a good texture. You can try with olive oil too :)

  2. wow... this bread looks really tempting...

  3. Sujatha: i am keen to try this as the husband and i both love banana cake. A Q: when you say blend the flax seeds with water do you mean make a kind of paste. Instead can i use flax seed pwd? If so please tell me the proportions. Thank you.

    1. Nisha, I made it as a paste and used. I haven't tried with powder. I guess it should work if you mix a 1 tsp powder with 2 tbsp water.

  4. Also i couldnt find the coffee proportions :)

    1. Its called a coffee cake because it is mild sweet that goes well for coffee / tea . No coffee powder used in this recipe :)

  5. Hi Sujatha! Thanks for sharing this at Fiesta Friday. I giggled when you described the cake as 'guilt free' as well....I love it when I can find delicious recipes that are also guilt free. It looks like a great breakfast as well - I always like a healthy cake or granola bar when I wake up. Looking forward to your future posts!

    1. Thanks a lot! Yes, since its mild sweet , it can be taken for breakfast too. My pleasure for taking time and going thru the recipe and sharing your comments.

  6. This looks like a delicious cake, and it's great that you are enjoying blogging - bloggers are a very warm and supportive group! :-)
